Thank you John for inviting me to be a part of the CASPCA Blog. I am new to this but hope to offer assistance for those with questions about dog issues. I have worked closely with CASPCA for many years and volunteer my time to teach the CASPCA basic obedience class. Our latest family member came from CASPCA about one year ago. Pokey was a scared little puppy that tried to bite when he was held. We took him in as a foster, helped him to overcome his fears and of course invited him to spend his life with us, our five dogs and three cats. Behavioral issues can be overcome with patience and positive association. Please seek help and advice before you give up on your dog. There is help available. Please feel free to post questions or concerns that you might have and I'll see what I can do to help.
